Together with Vendula Esteban Wiesnerová (Bratislava), Tea Hvala (Ljubljana/Münster) and Marty Huber (Vienna), the editors want to pick up some core topics of the anthology. I haven't read any anthologies on epistemology, so I can't really recommend any. His previously published scholarship includes numerous essays on problems of reason and will and space and time in classical modern philosophy, as well as Kant's epistemology, late metaphysics, and moral and political theory. We are soliciting scholarly research, theoretical essays, and applied studies that explore how the concept of Afrofuturism is related to Africana Studies for an anthology. I would recommend "Epistemology - A Contemporary Introduction" by Robert Audi, and/or Michael Williams' "Problems of Knowledge". Ortiz does not rely on how a Western notion of science can enhance his fiction, but instead reveals the fiction behind science's claims to epistemological mastery. In the end, I found a copy of the second edition of the Blackwell Epistemology Anthology. Burke, he is developing for Hackett Publishing Company an anthology of Latin American intellectual history that comprehensively represents the several traditions of thought central to Latin America's intellectual development and self- understanding.
